Additionally, I use LODhead which seems to make my performance in areas with tons of NPCs a lot more bearable. ini option that forces the NPCs added by Better Cities to idle in their homes instead of in the city streets, which will help performance a bit. This comes with a couple of it's own problems, like worse performance on the already-laggy Anvil docks because the city isn't in it's own cell anymore and some possible compatibility issues with mods that add content to the Anvil worldspace, but at least the city will actually exist in a playable state now.Ī couple of extra notes, there's another. (OR use LINK to edit it ingame and see the effects realtime!)Anvil will no longer be an interior cell, but the poor quarter will actually exist. ini from Better Cities Resources and, near the top, change the Open Anvil line from 0 to 1.

Otherwise the Prophet from KotN won't show up and you'll get a terrain error by the chapel when you open up Anvil in the next step.Ģ: Open up the Better Cities.

ini file.ġ: reinstall Better Cities with your mod manager, and when it asks you if you intend to use Better Open Cities Anvil, say yes so the install gives you the Open Cities+Knights of the Nine patch. I couldn't figure out what exactly was causing this (surely a compatibility issue with one of my 250ish mods), but I did find a way to fix it involving the better open cities options contained in Better Cities Resources.

Sorry to necro this thread, but since I found a solution workaround for this bug I wanted to drop it here to hopefully help people who find this later.
